We were broke down in July and needed a ride for a day. They are the only car rental place in town, but I could not have been more pleased with my experience with them. I'm pretty sure that the very nice lady that I talked to was/is named Lisa, she was very nice and courteous. When I arrived I dealt with Julian another extremely nice and personable person. So one has said here that the cost is two high, LOOK if you are not a volume place and your not in the car rental biz first but do offer a service to people you may have to charge more, and I cant even begin to think of what insurance for that would cost. On the other hand if your there and you need a car to get around, wont you want or still need the car regardless? The people here with bad reviews of this place should look no farther than them selves for a bad review, this is an Awesome family owned business and it was a pleasure to have met them. Thank you for getting a car to us when we needed it.
I would give this a negative 4 stars if I could! I ended up breaking down in Las Vegas, NM and went into Express Rent a Car just before closing. (The only reason I said negative 4 instead of negative 5 was because they were "nice" enough to rent me a car.) To start, I was given a car on empty. I filled it up and brought it back before opening the next day. I had a picture of the empty gauge and they told me they wouldn't refund the gas. When I got home later that week, I noticed they double charged my credit card. I called them and they said they would send a refund check. It never came. I ended up calling two more times each time with promises that that would put the check in the mail that day. Still never came! I don't get easily upset, but dishonesty bothers me. I only write this to warn anyone who may be considering renting from them. I would highly suggest going to LAS VEGAS AUTO SALES (LVAS) instead. I still needed a car for a few days so I went to LVAS. Gary, the owner, was awesome. He came and picked me up, had the type of car I needed ready when I got there, and charged HALF the price!
High prices...........$59.95 a day plus tax etc......and you get 50 free miles a day, $20 a day for full coverage insurance (if you don't already have it on your car) and this is the "only" deals they have.
