Very basic decor but food was acceptable and ample for the price. Popular place for the locals.

Just bland. Wasn't worth the price. For starters it was only teens working. I never saw an adult. I got the chicken stuffed sopa and it was ok. The chicken was dry but at least the green chili was good. DO NOT get the Spanish rice. It was rice soaked in tomato sauce. Most of it was just bland. My girls did not like the fries. They were not cooked all the way. My husband liked the burnt cheese tacos with shredded beef. Other than that it just wasn't good enough to bring us back.

The green chile salsa is the staple here. It's hot, spicy and gives you a little kick. The burnt cheese chicharron tacos are to die for. The customer service is what's lacking here. I've only seen Gina and Paula as the consistent waitresses, besides the young teenage girls who really don't understand what customer service is. Ever since I called an order in for chips and salsa and was treated badly and forced to wait long, I don't frequent the place like I used to anymore.

The food is excellent! Good portions and real homemade flavor. You might find some chile skin or seeds but that is just part of great hole in the wall New Mexican food. The service can be a bit relaxed, but that comes with small town life.

Passing through on our way home back to AZ, read good reviews so decided to stop. Felt like stopping and eating at a friends home; the atmosphere and quality of food. Salsa had a good kick
